Attendees will learn:
- The challenges to food safety through effective training methods and handling techniques.
- Developing a Food Safety System (HACCP) to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Methods for purchasing, receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, holding, serving, cooling, and reheating.
- Maintaining sanitary facilities and equipment, cleaning and sanitizing.
In-Person Classes
Rules and Regulations:
- You must register at least two weeks prior to the class. Fee includes course book and exam.
- Lunch is not provided.
- Materials will be mailed or ready for pickup upon receipt of payment.
- Course materials and exams are also available in Spanish.
(Please allow four weeks for delivery of Spanish materials.) - Due to the overwhelming response of this seminar, a $30 fee will be charged to reschedule.

Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive a ServSafe Food Manager Certification valid for five years. Once launched, you will have 90 days to complete it. Exam results are instant, and accommodations can be made as needed.
BEFORE you purchase this product please be aware of the following:
- You must have access to a private location and computer with a webcam and microphone. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported.
- Proctors give directions in English.
- Once your purchase is complete you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive an additional email containing a ServSafe Manager Exam Access Code and directions for scheduling your exam through ProctorU.

The ServSafe® Serving Safe Food course textbook is modeled after the FDA Code guidelines and also includes basic principles of reducing your liability through food handling techniques, safety systems, training and supervising employees.
- Books are available in English, Spanish, Korean & Chinese.

- Accommodations can be made for other languages or for hiring an interpreter.
