About the LRA

Who We Are

The Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA), is the restaurant industry's trusted advisor within the state. Our mission is to deliver value to our members by advancing and protecting Louisiana's restaurant and hospitality industry while driving economic prosperity and creating jobs.

Since our founding in 1946, the LRA has been a steadfast advocate for Louisiana's foodservice and hospitality industry. Established to represent the industry's interests among elected officials and regulatory agencies, the LRA has always been guided by principles of advocacy, leadership, and service—principles that continue to shape our mission today.

For decades, the LRA has been recognized as a peer leader among state restaurant associations nationwide, known for our unwavering commitment to supporting our members and the industry at large.

Our organization is governed by a diverse Board of Directors that represents all segments of Louisiana's foodservice and hospitality industry. The LRA, alongside the LRA Self Insurer’s Fund for Workers’ Compensation and the LRA Education Foundation, is led by a dedicated team of professionals under the leadership of our President and CEO.

With nine regional chapters across the state, we represent thousands of restaurant operations and related businesses, including hotels, caterers, and suppliers. These chapters play a crucial role in building community, sharing resources, and fostering growth within the industry.

We invite you to join us in shaping the future of Louisiana’s restaurant and hospitality industry.
