Louisiana’s BEST Alcohol Server Course
For those LRA members who have at least 20 employees that need alcohol server training, a private class can be arranged.

When working, servers must carry a permit with one legal picture identification. ServSafe Alcohol equips you with the knowledge, confidence and tools to serve alcohol successfully and responsibly as part of the total service experience you provide to your guests.
- Books are available in English, Spanish, Korean & Chinese.
- Exams are available in English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese & French Canadian.
- Accommodations can be made for other languages or for hiring an interpreter.
- Advanced noticed is required for all languages or accommodations with the exceptions of English, Spanish & Chinese.
- LRA Members - $9.95 (limited time only)
- Non Members - $25 per person
- Individuals can now obtain their Louisiana Responsible Vendor Permit, or bar card, by completing the two-hour ServSafe Alcohol course online 24-7
- Server Permits are valid for four years anywhere in Louisiana unless suspended or revoked.
- Servers must obtain a permit within 45 days from date of hire.
- Any person who sells or serves beverage alcohol or deals with customers who purchase or consume beverage alcohol must attend an approved server training class and receive a Server Permit issued by the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
